Carey Wilkinson
Principal Engineer & President
Carey brings 14 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry and leads 4‑D Engineering as Owner, President, and Principal Engineer. He provides hands‑on engineering and design support to the team, combining technical expertise with a genuine passion for helping clients bring their visions to life from dream homes to restaurants and everything in between. Carey is an avid traveler who has explored 13 countries, drawing inspiration from architecture and culture around the world. While he splits his time between both of our offices, he can primarily be found at our Lakeland location.
Karli Wilkinson
Administrative Officer
Karli oversees payroll, billing, and the essential administrative functions that keep 4‑D Engineering running smoothly. She has a genuine passion for people and takes pride in being part of a business that is truly customer‑centered. Ensuring that both customers and employees feel valued and supported is at the heart of what she does each day. Outside of work, Karli is married to her best friend, and together they’re raising five amazing kids who keep life exciting, loud, and wonderfully chaotic and they wouldn’t have it any other way. Their days are filled with sporting events, family adventures, and those rare but treasured moments of downtime. Karli also has a love for interior decorating and enjoys creating warm, inviting spaces that reflect her family’s personality. She loves to travel, and while discovering new destinations is always a joy, Napa will forever hold a special place in her heart. Her favorite way to unwind is catching a beach sunset with a glass of wine in hand.
We are involved by mentoring high school students who are on the college path to construction industry, engineering industry, etc because we care about our kids and our community. We hope that by our involvement, we can help to inspire future generations to pursue a career in our field or in a related field.

He specializes in structural design, special project design solutions, and project management, offering a depth of industry knowledge that strengthens every project he leads. As a Class A General Contractor and Certified Construction Manager, John approaches each job with professionalism, precision, and a genuine passion for the field. His expertise and leadership make him a highly valued member of the 4‑D team.

Her ability to anticipate needs and maintain momentum makes her an essential part of the 4‑D Engineering team. Outside of work, Anddi loves exploring nature or planning her next adventure. She’s happiest when helping others, discovering something new, and finding beauty in the world around her.

Shawn has been a valued member of the 4‑D Engineering team since 2017, bringing exceptional skill in renderings, design work, and drafting. His creativity shines most in projects that give him room to explore ideas and develop thoughtful, visually compelling solutions. His passion for drafting started early all the way back in 6th grade, when he would finish his schoolwork quickly just so he could spend extra time drawing houses. That early spark has grown into a career defined by craftsmanship, imagination, and a genuine love for design.

Andro is a dedicated drafter with a foundation in civil engineering, having completed his studies in Cuba. With 19 years of experience in the field, he brings technical knowledge, precision, and a thoughtful approach to every project he supports. His engineering background allows him to navigate complex design challenges with confidence, ensuring accuracy and quality in all phases of drafting. His blend of discipline, artistry, and technical expertise makes him a valuable member of the team. Outside of work, Andro has a lifelong passion for music. Whether listening or playing the piano, he finds balance and renewed focus through music.

Wendy has been part of the 4‑D Engineering team for two years, bringing organization, warmth, and a client‑focused approach to our North location. Recently married to her wonderful husband, Brian, she’s grateful to call Clay County home, where they enjoy life with their sweet fur baby, Theo. She loves spending time outdoors, exploring new places with a good cup of coffee, and appreciating life’s simple blessings. Outside of work, Wendy enjoys baking homemade sourdough, gardening, and taking peaceful walks on the beach.

Outside the office, Heidi is passionate about giving back to her community. She volunteers with local non‑profits, using her graphic design skills to support meaningful causes. Her commitment to service and her eye for detail make her a valued part of the 4‑D team.
