South Office Staff
Carey Wilkinson - Principal Engineer + President
Carey is a highly experienced individual in the construction and engineering industry with 14 years of experience. As the business owner and operator, he provides valuable engineering and design assistance to the team. Carey is passionate about helping clients achieve their dreams, whether it's related to building their dream home, restaurant, and anything in between. Outside of work, Carey is an avid traveler and has explored 13 different countries. While he splits his time between both offices, Carey can primarily be found at our Lakeland office.
Karli Hughes - Office Manager
Karli is an experienced professional who takes pride in her work and values clear communication with our customers. With a keen eye for design, she is passionate about bringing their ideas to life and delivering outstanding results. When she is not at work, Karli is a dedicated parent who loves nothing more than supporting her children in their various sports and hobbies. She also enjoys decorating her home, traveling to new places, and spending quality time with her loved ones. You can meet Karli at our Lakeland office, where she is always on hand to offer exceptional service and support to our valued clients.
Eric Torres - Draftsman
Eric is a highly skilled draftsman with nearly two years of experience at 4-D Engineering. His areas of expertise include Autocad and Revit, and he takes great pleasure in designing plans for distinctive and personalized homes. What sets Eric apart is his determination to succeed, as evidenced by being the first in his family to graduate high school. He is located at our Lakeland Office and looks forward to bringing his talent and expertise to your project.
Shawn Hull - Draftsman + Artist
Shawn's expertise lies in renderings and design work, although he excels in drafting as well. He has been an esteemed member of the 4-D team since 2017, contributing significantly to projects that require excellent design skills. He is passionate about taking on projects that allow him the freedom to express his creativity. It's worth noting that Shawn's passion for drafting began in 6th grade, where he used to complete his school work swiftly and draw houses in class. You are always welcome to visit Shawn in person at our Lakeland office.
Nicole Thompson - Project Coordinator
Nicole brings nearly 20 years of experience in customer service to our team. She was born in Plant City and has proudly called Lakeland home for her entire life. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watching movies (particularly horror), and spending quality time with her adorable Auggie dog, Auggie. For assistance with your needs, please visit Nicole at our South Office.
Kimberly Joy - Project Coordinator
Kim brings over 20 years of art, design, and technical experience to the team. She loves helping clients see their ideas come to life. She has a degree in interior design with a minor in art. Her passion for artistic expression comes in many forms and in her free time she enjoys making hand-made artisan clay jewelry, black and white photography, and dabbling in mixed media art. You can often find her going on long bike rides or walks and getting lost looking at the beautiful local buildings. You can meet with Kim at our Lakeland Office, where she is always happy to assist you in seeing your visions be achieved.

Ethan Brannon - North Office Operations Manager + Lead Designer
Ethan is a valued member of our drafting and design team. Ethan brings over eight years of experience to every project, from remodels to new homes and commercial buildings. His global perspective, gained from living in Tokyo for three years, informs his creative approach to design. We invite you to visit our North office and meet with Ethan. With his talent and passion, he will work diligently to manifest your vision into reality.
Anna Hughes - Office Administrator
We would like to officially welcome Anna to our team at 4-D. Though new to the engineering and drafting field, we are confident that Anna's capabilities will prove to be a valuable addition to our organization. Her knowledge and expertise showcase her potential to provide valuable insight and a fresh perspective to our team. Moreover, her exceptional talent in design and creativity distinguishes her from others, offering our organization a considerable advantage. Outside of work, Anna cherishes her time with her husband and two furry friends.
Juan Palomino - Draftsman
We are pleased to introduce Juan, a highly experienced draftsman, as the newest addition to our team. Boasting over 20 years of impeccable work in the drafting world, Juan has a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
